Partnerships are the go-getters of our set-ups, sourcing new business and managing client relationships. They love finding what makes their customer tick. One week they might be attending World Travel Market, the next they’re working on a business case to take their client’s business to the next level with us, then after that they may be accompanying clients on a fam trip to the Indian Ocean.

The role:

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to build and preserve trusting relationships with our key partners. We’ll rely on you to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain our company’s values. To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work with sales and marketing teams, and build rapport with our customers. We also expect you to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind, and strong negotiating skills.

Ultimately, you’ll maintain strong relationships with our company’s clients to boost our brand and profits in the long term. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure our partners are satisfied with our services, and will be able to grasp our partners needs and brainstorm ways to fulfil them.

If you also have a background in project/relationship management and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue and retain our relationships with our partners.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Client Relations Manager or Relationship Manager.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Background in customer service; travel industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience tracking relevant SLAs (e.g., customer feedback, conversion).
  • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics 356).
  • A customer-oriented attitude, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Confidence attending trade events to reinforce relationship between us and our partners.
  • The ability to report on KPI’s including conversion rates, as well as reporting on agent feedback from a reservation and a relationship point of view.
  • Support on live and pre-recorded partner webinars.
  • Confidence in presenting and creating presentations, often to a wide audience.
  • Reporting to senior leadership team on partner updates.
  • Social media savvy
  • Event management skills.
