The role:

We are seeking a motivated and competent senior marketer to hit the ground running within their busy team, who will lead campaigns, projects and initiatives across a range of travel brands.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be looking to expand on their generalist marketing experience across brands such as Travel Innovation Group, Lime and Calrom, Crew and A-ROSA Packages, ensuring the brands and their products & services are optimally promoted in relevant markets.

Tasks & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute standout campaigns on time, on budget, to optimum results. This involves managing areas including brief taking & writing, scheduling, copywriting, video & graphic production, proofreading, analysis and report creation.
  • Coordinate events and sponsorships such as showcase days, trade shows and fam trips
  • Day to day management of third-party marketing relationships, such as travel suppliers, tourist boards, advertising outlets and creative/web agencies
  • Keep abreast of marketing trends inside and outside of the travel industry
  • Keep accurate records, filing systems and databases in necessary areas, such as project progress and budget tracking
  • Strive to continuously improve the quality (presentation, accuracy, and coverage) of information relevant to the business
  • Champion the company and stakeholders’ brand(s)
  • Contribute to the evolution of best and new practices within the team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Complete understanding of marketing principles, practices, and processes
  • Excellent, authentic copywriting with adaptability to a variety of purposes, teamed with excellent proofreading skills
  • Excellent organisation to balance several projects at a time within sometimes tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders internally and externally at all levels
  • Analytical minded and commercially aware to spot
  • At least three years spent in a B2B marketing role (minimum Executive level) with travel or technology sectors advantageous
  • Competency in digital marketing tools and platforms including CMS (Umbraco, WordPress), Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics and social media (primarily Linkedin)
  • Competency in Microsoft programmes including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook:
  • Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders internally and externally at all levels
  • Understanding of design processes and software, including Adobe Creative Suite and print processes
  • Dedication to train and develop both in opportunities provided by the company as well as self-learning
