Software Development Engineering Tester

The role:

We are looking for SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with minimum of 3 years of software industry experience.

You will design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks that ensure high-quality delivery across airline booking and payment platforms.

We think you’ll be a great fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing with C# and tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Strong programming experience in C#/.NET for test automation.
• Proven experience with Integration, E2E, Regression, and Smoke test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Strong at debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Passionate about automation and quality, with the ability to lead by example.

Tasks & responsibilities include:

Requirement Analysis & Test Planning

• Collaborate with BAs and developers to ensure requirements are testable.
• Define automation strategies aligned with acceptance criteria.
• Estimate automation efforts during sprint planning and backlog refinement.

Automation Testing

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) using C#.
• Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) automated tests.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Ensure automation suites are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.

Quality Assurance Practices

• Champion best practices in automation and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure releases meet performance, security, and reliability benchmarks.
• Maintain reusable test libraries and improve automation coverage.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers to debug, reproduce, and resolve automation-related issues.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Provide clear defect reports with logs, evidence, and steps.
• Mentor junior QA engineers on automation practices and tools.

Continuous Improvement

• Explore and adopt new test automation tools, frameworks, and techniques.
• Introduce improvements for test efficiency and release confidence.
