Ticket Protection Scheme (TPS)
We’re dedicated to offering the best protection for the business you place with us. The Travel Innovation Group’s Ticket Protection Scheme is a key part of this.
Should circumstances result in Airline Failure, our Ticket Protection Scheme (TPS) guarantees to refund fares and taxes in the quickest possible time frame, secure alternative flight arrangements, or repatriating customers with alternative flights if left overseas.
Ticket Protection Scheme is applied within your Group quote to ensure you have the best protection for your customers.
You’ll be covered as soon as a deposit is paid, so your customer’s funds are safe from that initial stage.
Throughout your booking and ticketing journey, you’ll see the ‘TPS included’ or ‘TPS excluded’ icon to show you which airlines are or aren’t covered within the Scheme. Within that cover, airlines are categorised by the following:
Full cover whenever ticketed
(we recommend ticketing as late as possible within the TTL for maximum flexibility).
All airlines not listed in Category B or Category C.
Full cover if ticketed within 14 days of TTL
(If ticketed more than 14 days prior to TTL, then Curtailment and Repatriation cover only).
Airlines: Aeromexico, Avancia, Cathay Pacific, Ethiopian Airlines, EgyptAir, EVA Air Icelandair, Kenya Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Philippine Airlines, WestJet, Wideroe
Excluded from all cover
Airlines: Norwegian, Scandinavian Airlines, Garuda Indonesia
